Seiðr Studies Weekend with Völva Kari Tauring, author of  Völva Stav Manual & The Runes, A Human Journey, the weekend of Friday, March 23 - Sunday, March 25 at Gulf Island National Seashore...

Kari Tauring is a Völva (Old Norse for staff carrier) , sharing her ethnic heritage through performances and workshops. Völva stav is a unique expression of the Indo-European Folk Soul. Her artistry, driven by a passion for her own heritage, combines twenty plus years of scholarship and practice of runes, stav (stick rhythm) , poetry, songs, dances, and the healing and spiritual arts. Kari has summoned the Heathen (pre-Christian) origins of her folk soul into her Immigrant Era heritage bringing Northern European spiritual and artistic expression to a new level.

Kari balances Northern European traditions with her North American ancestors to create a healed and unified heritage. She is a bridge walker through time and space of global proportions...

(2 hour presentation)

Lunch time questions:
What is the difference between Heathenry, Paganism, Asatru...
Religion, spiritual path, folkway...Q and A with Kari and other leaders

What are the songs, dances, and ceremonies of our Northern European Ancestors? How do these intersect with the other ancestors in our oorlag? (4 hour interactive session, needs a large space)

What is Volva Stav? How do you use it to heal oorlag? (3 hour session, lecture/practice)

Evening program: How Norskies do a party in Minnesota!

There are only 25 reservations remaining for the camp-out portion of this event. Package pricing is as follows...

Package 1:
$30.00 per ticket... $15.00 due at the time you make your reservation, and $15.00 due at the time of the event (Food and beverages are NOT included in the price of the ticket).
Package 2:
$55.00 per picket... $25.00 due at the time you make the reservation, $30.00 due at the time of the event. (Food and beverages ARE included in the price of this package).
Package 3:
$25.00 per ticket... savings package - pay $25.00 at the time of your reservation and you are paid in full! (Food and Beverages are NOT included in the price of this package).

SATURDAY ONLY DAY PASS... $15.00 per person at the time you make your reservation will allow you to participate in all the workshops, classes, and presentations on Saturday from 9:30am until sundown.  (Food and Beverages are NOT included in the price of this package, so please pack a cooler with all the food and drinks you will need for the day).
